was founded in 1988 as an interfaith collaborative effort between Third Baptist Church and Temple Emanu-El. The unique partnership has crossed religious and cultural differences to build bridges of opportunity for K-12 students. As a non-denominational community based program, Back On Track has served over 2,000 young people from diverse multicultural populations throughout San Francisco.

This is a group of elected men and women who act as the stewards of the Church’s finances, properties and possessions. Trustees are customarily elected by the church. Among the major duties of the Trustees are: 1) maintaining or improving the church property; (2) advising the church relative to major repairs or improvements; and (3) accounting for all of the church’s finances.
The Trustee Ministry is not open to the general church membership. These men and women are carefully selected and scrutinized by the Pastor, the Ministry of Deacons, the Joint Board and then ratified by the church body.
The Trustees Ministry meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. Chairman: Preston J. Turner
