TBC: Ministry at the Next Level in 2012 Working Within, Reaching Out, Growing in Grace!

As we move forward into 2012 if we are to become a more vibrant and relevant faith community we must practice ministry at the next level. Admittedly, such ministry requires of us all a greater commitment and consistency which must first be resident and apparent in Church leadership. Not an effort to be taken lightly we must be strategic and focused: thus, for the coming year we will focus on the following areas: worship, recruitment of youth and young adults, and comprehensive biblical studies programming. To this end we must provide a meaningful worship experience – one that is structured and fluid,, inclusive and distinct, engaging and attractive to 21st century worshippers; we must increase our collective and personal witness while the administration continues to market and enhance our brand so that we will have a relevant presence in our local community; and we must strengthen our Biblical studies through Church Sunday School and Wednesday Night Bible Study so that we might all grow in grace through applying the Scriptures to our various personal and social contexts. It is my prayer that as we work within, reach out, and grow in Grace that God will indeed enable, equip, and usher us to ministry at the next level-which will be even greater than our rich and historic past.
