Assistant serves as the primary point of coordination for the Pastor’s schedule, correspondence, follow-up, and the execution of priority projects, while representing the Office of the Senior Pastor with excellence, professionalism, and discretion.

Guided by the mission of Third Baptist Church and the directives of the pastor, the director of Worship and the Arts will maximize and develop all of the arts (choral, instrumental, dance, and drama) in an authentic, highly creative, and excellent worship experience.

The Worship and Arts ministry includes music performed by the choirs and the congregation (“The Primary Choir”). The Director of Worship and the Arts has a basic understanding of an African American church service and demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills. The director leads and oversees the church's music ministry, which includes choir(s), vocal, instrumental, and other musical expressions. The director promotes an innovative blend of music styles to enrich and support worship services and enhance the overall experience of the members.
